Have you always wanted to show off your culinary skills? Do you cook for your entire family during Thanksgiving or for all of your buddies at the camp? Are you a previous Cook-Off participant aiming to claim an award this year? Then you and your friends or family need to sign up to be a cook team at this year’s Cook-Off for the Coast on February 28, 2026!
The annual family-friendly Cook-Off at Docville Farm aims to raise awareness about coastal restoration by celebrating the bounty of southeast Louisiana. Local cook teams prepare dishes featuring wild game and seafood found in Louisiana’s coastal wetlands and serve up free samples to event attendees. A panel of judges, including local chefs, will rate the entries on taste, originality and presentation. Trophies made by local St. Bernard artist Luis Colmenares, will be awarded in the following categories: swims, flies, crawls, student organization and crowd favorite.
