About the Cook-Off

Cook-Off for the Coast is a celebration of both south Louisiana food and coastal restoration. Food is such an important and integral part of both our coast and our culture (after all, we’re known as a “Sportsman’s Paradise”), and it’s only right that this event combines the two!

Cook-Off has been bringing the St. Bernard community together to raise awareness for Louisiana’s land loss crisis since 2017. Cook-Off is free, but all proceeds from merchandise sales and donations benefit the next generation of the coastal workforce. Free food samples are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We hope you will join us at Docville Farm on Saturday, February 28, 2026!
